Teaching Council - The Council has responsibility for the encouragement and support of efforts to improve instruction and learning at all levels at UNL

A year-long project that provides support for faculty for documenting teaching and learning improvement. First year and advanced programs.

Team of instructional designers that support faculty teaching in all formats (fully online, face-to-face, technology enhanced, flipped, blended, etc.). Focus is on both one-to-one consulting and university, campus, and department events (Brown Bags, Presentations on specific teaching strategies and/or technologies, Workshops on Course Redesign and Canvas Conversions, Department Meetings, etc.)

3-year NSF grant project focused on improving teaching and learning in STEM disciplines.

Five week online and face to face institute for faculty focused on providing preparation and training as well as a campus-wide faculty learning community focused on online teaching. Developed and coordinated by Innovative Instructional Design and includes use of faculty discussion facilitators and guest speakers from numerous colleges. 16th year being offered.
