Putting the Canvas peer review system to the test

This month the faculty feature showcases John Geppert's test of the Canvas peer review system with a writing assignment in a class of about 90 students.  He describes the process of using the system and the degree to which he found consensus among peer reviewers and to what degree student ratings aligned with his own.

The October tech tip introduces Grammarly, a tool being used by the College of Business Administration to support improved student writing.

Finally, the library is offering students a series of free workshops, called the Quick Tip Series, which aim to improve student writing with a focus on avoiding plagiarism, finding and evaluating information on the web, and using citation management software.
