  • ACE 101, next session to be determined
  • ACE 102, next session to be determined

The Center for Transformative Teaching and Patty Sollars, Director of Undergraduate Education Programs, will be presenting two workshops to guide you through the ACE process.

The  ACE 101: Integrated Design workshop is an overview the ACE process including what your syllabus should contain, how to evaluate assignments with ACE outcome rubrics, what to do with ACE data once you have it, and much more.

The ACE 102: Integrated Design workshop is a hands-on workshop using Backward Design where you will design a syllabus with course objectives and ACE objectives that complement one another. You will draft an ACE-signature assignment that fulfills both ACE and course objectives, and you will learn how to incorporate ACE outcomes into the design of your course using the data as part of a continuous re-design process. Please bring your syllabus.

The workshops will be in Unity Room 212 at the Jackie Gaughan Center. Participation in the ACE 101 workshop is not required for attendance at the ACE 102 workshop.

The ACE-Integrated Design workshops are professional development opportunities that are offered as a collaboration between the Center for Transformative Teaching and Patty Sollars, Director of Undergraduate Education Programs.
