Fall 2020 presented new challenges in teaching that are likely to continue into the spring semester. With faculty being more isolated from each other, it can be difficult to resolve these challenges independently. The Center for Transformative Teaching would like to pair University of Nebraska-Lincoln instructors to discuss obstacles in teaching and encourage ongoing conversations about the teaching landscape at the university.
After a partner has been identified, the communication can begin on whatever topics are relevant to personal teaching experiences. An instructional designer at the CTT will also provide a few articles throughout the semester to encourage participants to explore new ideas and methods of teaching and can provide resources on specific teaching topics if requested. Participants will also receive information about CTT workshops, events, and guest speakers that could serve as further discussion topics.
If you're interested in being paired with a fellow university instructor, complete the survey below and an instructional designer at the CTT will find a partner for you.
