The Knute Broady Online Resource is designed to curate a dynamic collection of teaching and learning materials for the use of anyone at the University of Nebraska interested in pedagogy. We have provided suggestions for materials under a variety of headings, and our intention is that these materials should feature the foundational texts in the area concerned in addition to recent materials and contributions from new and emerging scholars.

What allowed for the creation of the Knute Broady Online Resource, and provides for its maintenance, is the K.O. Broady Library Fund, established in 1972 by Mrs. Lois Broady of Jackson, Tennessee. The purpose of the Donor in making this gift was to establish a fund to honor her husband, Dr. Knute O. Broady, Professor Emeritus at the time, whose tenure at the University of Nebraska was from 1928 to 1964. During that period, Dr. Broady served as Director of the University of Nebraska Extension Division and later as the first Director of the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education. Dr. Broady was also the author of several teaching and learning publications.
