Libraries Update for August 2017
It’s that time of the year again as Fall classes start VERY soon! If you haven’t done so already, please reach out to the Libraries’ Reserves team at LibrariesReserves@unl.edu to put items on reserve. These items for can include many more formats than traditional print; electronic books, journal articles, DVDs/CDs, and streaming music/video are all available to be put on reserve. Please note that this process must be done every semester, even if you have taught the same class before, given possible copyright issues and/or changes to availability. So please reach out today!
Also, did you know that each of your classes has a Subject Specialist Librarian assigned to it? These librarians can help you pick out resources for your class and even help with instruction. Please go to http://libraries.unl.edu/subject-specialties and contact your assigned librarian before classes start.
Finally, if you’d like to get more information on including Libraries-related tutorials in your courses, reach out to Virtual Learning Librarian Andrew Cano at email@example.com. He will be happy to work with you on helping students create Libraries-related accounts, access resources and services, and develop information literacy skills!
