UNL has over 1,500 international students from over 130 different countries who enrich our campus community in a variety of ways. They bring a unique set of circumstances and experiences that can influence how they learn in the classroom. How can instructors best use the strengths of international students and help them to be as successful in the classroom as possible? The International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO) and the Center for Transformative Teaching (CTT) invite you to a series of discussions designed to help instructors best support the learning and academic success of international students. In each workshop, participants will be presented with a set of case studies that will be used to support an in-depth conversation. All workshops will be on Zoom.
