Examples of effective online teaching strategies

There are many ways to teach online and finding what works best for you and your students is often a mix of recommended best practices and techniques refined over time. This collection of examples shows how research-based instructional strategies have been implemented in online courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Those who have generously shared their experiences are willing to answer your questions about specifics and instructional designers assigned to your college are available to help you implement these practices or variations thereof.

If you have a strategy that has worked especially well for you and your students in a fully online or hybrid class, please consider sharing it. All submissions should include a video overview and a description of the approach along with any other resources that instructors would find helpful if they were to adapt and implement your approach.
